Description of Dried Red Chillies

When dried, the chili turns dark reddish brown. Dried chillies are usually cut in 2 cm lengths and soaked in warm water until soft, then
pounded to a paste before being cooked. Some or all the seeds may be removed according to the desired degree of spiciness or heat.
